SCALZOTTO ITALIAN
The suburbs were ready for more love, and with two successful DIY spaces already established, the clients were eager to expand into a larger location with greater impact. A former Perkins Restaurant provided the perfect canvas. The transformation began by clearing the space and grinding the floors to expose fresh cement, setting the stage for a more contemporary design by Shike Design, a leading Denver restaurant designer.
Large murals of iconic Italian architecture became striking backdrops to repurposed saddle leather bench seating. Clusters of Tom Dixon geometric lights added a modern accent, while a curated wine display behind the bar and distressed wallpaper brought warmth and texture. Together, these elements created a sophisticated yet approachable atmosphere, all achieved on a minimal budget.
The result is a refreshed dining experience, thoughtfully crafted by Shike Design Denver restaurant designer, that has been met with enthusiastic support from the community, marking an exciting new chapter for Scalzotto Italian.
