Maverick American Mountain Bike Helmet
Maverick American revolutionized free ride mountain bikes. Created by Paul Turner, the founder of RockShox, the bike line was created for the aggressive rider interested in a lightweight, long travel, full suspension bike that responded to all mountain terrain, yet retained torsional rigidity. To compliment the line, Paul's vision for a new helmet was to evolve toward a more casual aesthetic, replacing the existing 'racer ace' look. The concept derived from a snow/skate type helmet, with greater ventilation and a simplified design.
