Process
Phase 1- Design
The process begins with understanding the goals of the project and gathering inspiration through research of the related market. From this, collaboration with the client takes visual form through keywords, concept sketches, and interactive review. The big ideas happen here, yet this typically consumes only 10-15% of the real workload.
Phase 2- Development
With the concept approved by the client, the details start to take shape. Colored renderings, mechanicals, working prototypes, and construction documents help bring definition to the concept. Budgets and production resources come into view to establish the how, when, and where.
Phase 3- Production
With the details defined, the final climb to reality begins. Project management, creative direction, and manufacturing consultation take place to maintain the elements and individuals that are essential to produce the end result. Production prototypes, packaging, and presentation are also brought together to present the final design.
Estimates are presented for each Phase upon completion of the previous Phase. With original design, it is virtually impossible to determine the cost of an idea until we know how the idea looks and feels. Starting with a budget is preferred, and allows for the most efficient means to the end.
